go back | ||
In the last few years the design and fabrication of materials into nanosized forms has boosted a new era in the challenging field of the energy-related research . Nanotechnology is presently paving the way to novel energy sources and to systems able to optimize the processes of energy conversion and storage This Symposium has been organized in such a way to present some interesting examples of nanomaterials that are currently considered for energy-related applications and to illustrate several exciting aspects regarding their use . The topics range from the synthesis of perovskite oxides and graphitic nanostructures for the assembling of electrodes in supercapacitors to the engineering of III-V nanostructures for space solar cells, to the manufacturing of porous nanocarbons and magnesium-based nanocomposites for H-storage applications. |
